I was awarded the VDI Förderpreis (1st Place) for my Master's thesis.

I was honoured to receive the 1st place VDI Sponsorship award for my Master's thesis work on vision-based neuromorphic obstacle avoidance on 25.01.2024.

This prize is awarded by the association of German engineers (Verein Deutscher Ingenieure) for theses or dissertations that "should contain outstanding achievements in terms of innovative solutions, special economic significance or social relevance." Candidates are nominated by the deans of their academic institutions.

You can find an article by the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University here.

While I was unfortunately unable to accept the award in person, I am grateful for the recognition of my work and would like to thank Prof. Paul Ploeger, my advisor, for his support and for accepting the award on my behalf.
